Well it’s been a while since I updated on the star of my website Jake. Jake will be 2 this coming January. He’s gotten to be a big boy. Last visit to the vet he was weighing in at 27lbs. That’s just over what the average Boston terrier weighs. He is a bundle of energy like any other terrier and definitely keeps everyone on their toes here. He and my daughter were born the same day so I like to call them the twins.

Jake has started to help her get into trouble. He will knock down the baby gate so that she can walk over it. He’s also really good at knocking her over when he gets to excited and isn’t’ watching where he’s going. He has all the Boston terrier traits. He snorts snores and wants to play any time he thinks you might throw his toy. He’s a big momma’s boy. Always wants to be where I am and sleeps on the bed with me. When I’m sick he will lie in bed with me all day only getting up to go outside or get a drink.

He has the big eyes that look so sad. When he’s happy he can’t really wag is stub so his whole butt shakes. Chasing cats is also a favorite past time of Jakes. He loves to give the cats a run for their money. Except our youngest who loves Jake to bits. They snuggle and bath each other. The other two however don’t want to have anything to do with Jake. Except to hiss and bat at him, that however doesn’t deter him from the chase.
